The base is broad. CrowdStrike says it is "trusted by more than 88,000 organizations"2, a figure that includes the end customers of the managed security providers that run Falcon for others. The narrower count of its own subscription customers, last disclosed, was 29,000 at January 20243.

The mix has been moving down-market on purpose. The company says it historically sold to large organisations "but have increasingly focused on selling to small and medium-sized businesses, particularly through our trial-to-pay model"4. Falcon Go, the bundle for organisations with 100 endpoints or fewer5, is the product for that end of the market.

Diversification of this kind is a real protection. No single renewal can change a quarter, and no customer can use its size to dictate price. It is not the same as independence from the economy: tens of thousands of customers in the same country, 67% of revenue coming from the United States6, react to the same budgets at the same time.

The count to watch is the broad one. More than 88,000 organisations at January 2026 is the base the land-and-expand model sells into; if the figure stops rising while the company pushes harder into small businesses, the trial-to-pay funnel is not filling.
