Synektik (SNT) — threat to the moat

Synektik pays out its whole profit without a written policy, in a seasonal business.

Synektik has no published dividend policy that we could find; the payout is decided each year. The February 2026 dividend took about 99,7% of the parent's standalone profit1.

Net cash (zł m)59,8Sep 202443,4Sep 202535,7Jun 2026Synektik annual report and factsheet
Falling as dividends rise.

The company also describes seasonal sales as a liquidity risk2. Hospitals buy at the end of the calendar year; the April-June share of annual sales was 12% in 2021 and 22% in 20253. Paying out almost everything leaves a business with that pattern dependent on its credit lines, which carry WIBOR plus a margin4.

The risk is modest: net cash was 35,7 million złoty at June 20265. It is the kind of choice that is right in growth years and tight in a year when a big tender slips.

The arithmetic is tight. In the year to September 2025 operating cash flow was 78,3 million złoty and capital spending 17,4 million złoty6, leaving about 60,9 million złoty; the dividend paid in February 2026 was about 91,7 million złoty78. The year before, operating cash flow of 89,6 million złoty less capital spending of 44,9 million złoty9 left about 44,7 million złoty, against a dividend of 70,4 million złoty paid in January 20251011. Twice in a row the dividend exceeded the previous year's free cash flow; the nine-month operating cash flow of 141,4 million złoty to June 202612 is what makes it look safe now.

The measure is net cash after the dividend. A turn to net debt would say the payout outran the business.
