Synektik (SNT) — the future bets

Synektik is trying to repeat the da Vinci pattern with a liver-tumour device that only gained its CE mark this year.

Synektik's best hope of a second da Vinci is another exclusive device that hospitals will want. It has become the exclusive distributor of HistoSonics' Edison system, a non-invasive treatment for liver tumours, in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia12. The system gained CE certification in 2026, allowing it to be sold across the European Union34, and Synektik says it can now begin commercialising it5.

The other new therapies point the same way. In July 2026 Synektik and Insightec delivered the first Exablate Neuro system in Slovakia, for the non-invasive treatment of tremor, to a centre in Nitra6. These are high-value systems sold to specialist centres, with training and service attached, the pattern the da Vinci established.

None of them yet approaches the robot's scale, and the filings mention no dedicated reimbursement for them in Poland.

Synektik's rights cover the whole product life, not just the sale. Under the agreement the group is responsible for selling the systems, servicing them and distributing the materials needed for procedures7. The system is approved by the US FDA for liver tumours, and in May 2026 the manufacturer applied to the FDA for kidney tumours8.

Synektik holds Edison exclusivity in six countries9. The real test will be the first sales, which the filings have not yet reported.
