Synektik plans to place 20 da Vinci robots in Ukraine in two years, in a market where it has installed none yet.

Ukraine is the largest territory Synektik has added and the least predictable. The annex of February 2026 extended the da Vinci agreement to cover it1. Synektik Ukraine TOV was registered in Kyiv on 11 May 2026 to handle sales, service and training, and Synektik was building its Ukrainian team, with operations planned to start around the turn of the third and fourth quarters of calendar 20262. The company plans to install about 20 da Vinci systems there over the next two years3.

Twenty robots would be a large addition: Synektik sold 28 systems in all its territories in the nine months to June 20264. Each would bring years of instruments and service, as in Poland.

The risks are obvious and Synektik states them. It says the Ukrainian entry will have a more significant effect on the company than before5, and it already lists the war in Ukraine among the factors affecting its results6. Payment, logistics and service engineers in a country at war are harder than in a public tender in Poland.

The plan is ambitious against Synektik's own history. The whole installed base in Poland, Czechia and Slovakia grew by 29 systems in the nine months to June 202678; twenty robots in Ukraine in two years would be most of a year's work for the group.

None had been reported at June 2026; the plan is about twenty in two years. The first installation will say more than the plan.
